Science (Mr. Seabold)
We will be finishing up our genetics unit with a test this Thursday. Social Studies (Mr. Price, Ms. LT) Since the subject matters are so closely related, and one unit is much smaller than the other, social studies has elected to combine 7-4.5 (WWII) and 7-4.6 (Holocaust) into one test. We will not test on WWII this Friday, but we will test on WWII AND the Holocaust next Wednesday (3/1). Math (Ms. Dillingham) Ms. Dillingham's Advanced Math Class: Students began the unit on ratios and proportions last week. We will have a quiz this Thursday on proportional relationships and finding the constant of proportionality. Ms. Dillingham's Math Classes: Students will start the equations and inequalities unit this week. There are not any assessments this week. There will be a quiz early next week. Math (Ms. Jensen) ADV: review indentifying slope from graphs, tables, and equations; quiz on Wednesday Begin working on identifying the y-intercept from graphs, tables, and equations. Possible quiz on Friday Grade Level: Pre-assessment on solving one and two step equations in order to determine student groupings for the remainder of the week. Working on solving one and two step equations. This is leading us up to solving mulit-step equations and inequalities.
