Social Studies will begin our last group of standards for the year (7-6) on Monday. We will start with 7-6.1 on Monday and Tuesday and look towards Wednesday or Thursday for our quiz. Science-Mr. Seabold We will be finishing our ecology unit and having a test on the entire unit Thursday, March 30 Math-Ms. Dillingham, Ms. Jensen Dillingham’s Math Classes All classes will learn how to use surface area and volume to solve real world and mathematical problems this week. Advanced students will learn surface area and volume of prisms and cylinders; and volume of cones and spheres. Grade Level students will learn surface area and volume of prisms including rectangular prisms, cubes, and triangular prisms. All classes will have a quiz on Friday covering surface area and volume. Jensen Advanced: Test on Tuesday over Angles, Triangles, and circles. Then starting surface area and volume of 3D shapes. Jensen Grade level: Surface area and volume of 3D shapes; quiz Friday. English-Ms. Sessions, Ms. Nettles We will finish our informative essay rough drafts by Wednesday and on Thursday we will start our peer editing Writer's Workshop. Essays are due by the end of class on Friday.

Test on Tuesday 3/21/17 - on the material covered 7-5.3 and 7-5.4. Check module 7-5 for notes and study information. Math- Ms. Dillingham, Ms. Jensen, All classes will have a test this Thursday on Angles, Triangles, and Circles. Science-Mr. Seabold, We will have a quick quiz tomorrow, 3/21 on Complex Interactions and another on Thursday 3/23 on Energy flow. The information can all be found in Canvas files. ELA-Ms. Nettles, Ms. Sessions, We will be finishing up our Writing Common Formative Assessment, and beginning our unit on writing informative essays. Science-Mr. Seabold
We will be learning about soil. Observable properties and measurable properties. Quick check and quiz by the end of the week. Social Studies-Mr.Price, Ms. LT Social Studies will continue to work on the Cold War this week. There will be a brief 12-15 question quiz based on our class notes from 7-5.1 & 7-5.2 on Tuesday. Math-Ms.Dillingham, Ms. Jensen Advanced is working on Unit Rates and solving Proportions. There will be a quiz on Friday. GL is working on solving Inequalities and we are having a test on Thursday. Dillingham’s Advanced Math Class: This week we will be using proportions to find the percent of discounts, taxes, tips, increases, and decreases. This will end our unit on Ratios and Proportions. There will be a Ratios and Proportions Unit Test next Tuesday, March 14th. Dillingham’s Math Classes: There will be an Equations and Inequalities Test on Thursday of this week. English-Ms. Sessions and Ms. Nettles Ms. Nettles' grade level class will be wrapping up their mini-unit on drama, and beginning to work on pre-writing and planning essays. Ms. Nettles' advanced class will be finishing their rough drafts of their universal theme essays. Ms. Sessions' grade level classes will finish their poetry projects and begin a mini-unit on drama. Advanced will finish their rough drafts of their essays on universal themes. There will be a grammar quiz this Friday in all ELA classes. |
