Daily homework is to study the notes you have in your composition notebook. Social Studies: Social studies will wrap up 7-1.1, 7-1.2 and 7-1.5 notes by Wednesday and begin reviewing for our first test, which should be Thursday or Friday. Start reviewing your notes this weekend. Math: We will be reviewing conversions between percents, decimals, and fraction. GL quiz on Wednesday ADV quiz on Tuesday Then we will be introducing adding integers ELA: 7th grade ELA classes are getting started with Reading Workshop. They are learning the routines, expectations, and “how to’s” of daily Reading Workshop lessons. The students are excited about choosing reading materials and their first trip to the library next week to check out books.

ELA--We will be starting our Reader's Workshop on Tuesday. Please bring a 3 subject notebook by Tuesday. Math--GL- We will be starting with the Number System. A pre-test will be on Tuesday, followed by a review of rational numbers. On Wednesday and Thursday we will work on multiple representations of a number: percentages, decimal numbers, and fractions. ADV- A pre-test will be on Tuesday, followed by a review of rational numbers. We will include the brief introduction of irrational numbers while reviewing rational numbers and we will end the week with ordering and comparing rational and irrational numbers. Science--TBA Social Studies--This week in Social Studies we will begin our studies of European colonial expansion. Students will review a basic world map and will have a map quiz this week. Students should review location of continents and oceans. |
